The ambiance in Barfly is original to say the least.

It welcomes a wide-variety of people, with all kinds of tastes. 

 

The menu was highly influenced by the interior design of the bar. 

There are two Barfly bars in Mexico, the original was founded in Zicatela (Puerto Escondido) Oaxaca, a beach mainly known by surfers, nearly 20 years ago.

For promotional purposes, the bar later decided to create bookmarks

based on some of Bukowski's famous quotes.
